The first expansion for the .hack//ENEMY TCG features the next stages in the storyline from both the PS2 game and the DVD. Whereas Phase 1 introduced the level boss: SKEITH, Distortion takes players through phases 2 and 3 each having two level bosses: INNIS and MAGUS. The appearance of a new PC in the set: TSUKASA raises questions about the integrity of The World as he is unable to "log out" of the server. New mechanics are introduced that allow cards to "log in" and "log out." More powerful enemies are introduced as well as the environment of The World has become sinister and more dangerous.
This first expansion to the .hack//ENEMY CCG features 120 new cards including 12 new Extra Rare Foils in the series. Each booster pack contains 11 cards.
